加藤神社境内から眺める熊本城が綺麗だと聞いてまずはそこから。
天守閣がばっちり見えます。

I've heard the best view of the castle tower of Kumamoto caste is from Kato Shinto shrine
so went there first before entering the castle.
Here, you can take a nice photo of it!



熊本城おもてなし武将隊の皆さんがなにやら撮影をしていました。
加藤清正を始め、九州で有名な武将達が、お城で
毎日２回演舞をしています。

Kumamoto castle Bushotai, a group of samurai warrior acting the part of the local famous
samurai such as Kiyomasa Kato, was performing.
They do performance twice a day.



さて、天守閣に登ります。
天守閣は大天守と小天守の２つあり、大天守は6階地下1階建て。
どんどん登って行きます。
天守閣内部は熊本博物館分館になっていて、加藤家時代の鎧や西南戦争時代の砲弾
などが展示されていて見応えがあります。

Let's go up the stairs of the castle tower.
Kumamoto castle has 2 castle tower, big and small.
The big one is 6 stories above and 1 story underground.
Inside the castle , it is a branch of Kumamoto Museum,
armor from Kato family's era and some artillery shells from Seinan war
are displayed.





最上階は展望所になっています。
お天気が良く、遠く阿蘇の山々が見えました！
Top floor is an observation platform.
I was lucky to see the beautiful Mt.Aso.




大御台所（おおおんだいどころ）では200人分のお料理を作っていたそうです。
巨大キッチン！！
お料理のサンプルがあり、係の方が説明してくださいました。

Ooondaidokoro is a big kitchen and it is said that the meals for 200 people
were prepared.
It is a sample menu!

熊本城では予約制で「本丸御膳」（ほんまるごぜん）
をランチで頂く事ができます。
次回は是非頂いてみたいです！

If you wan to try the traditional meal, you can have it as a lunch.
its called Honmaru gozen , you have to make a reservation in advance.

昭君之間（しょうくんのま）は熊本城の中で一番格式が高いお部屋です。
中国の絶世の美女、王昭君の物語が描かれています。
この部屋には抜け穴伝説も残っていて、ミステリアスな雰囲気をさらに感じさせます〜！

Shokunnoma is the most formal room in the castle, and it covered with the beautiful paining of
Oshokun, known as a woman of great beauty in China.
There is a legend that the room has a secret passage, which gives us more mysterious feeling!
