福岡市春吉にある「藁焼きみかん」に行って来ました。
藁焼きといえば高知のかつおのたたきを想像しますが、どんな感じなんだろ〜、と入店すると
さっそくのファイヤーーー

Warayaki is a Japanese way of broiling fish over straw, it is famous in Kochi prefecture in Shikoku island.
Today I went an newly opened Japanese restaurant called "Warayaki Mikan" in Haruyoshi in Fukuoka.
As soon as I entered the restaurant, I found something is flaming like magic show..!




日本酒が合いそうなメニューばかりです
鳥取と言えば水木しげる、水木しげると言えば、、こなき純米辛口です。
もう１つは山形県米沢市の洌（れつ）。どちらも美味でした〜

There are plenty of selection of Japanese sake, which goes well with all of the menu.
Konaki junmai is from Tottori prefecture naming after the famous ghost anime character.
And other one is called Retsu from Yonezawa city in Yamagata prefecture.
Both are dry and very good one!



やっぱりまずは「藁焼きの盛り合わせ」かつおやさばやハモなどあぶらが乗っててどれも美味しい〜。
藁焼きの香りもやっぱり日本酒に合います

First of all we had the restaurant's specialty "Selection of Warayaki fish",which includes skipjack tuna,
mackerel , daggertooth pike etc , all of them put on fat and very nice!
You can enjoy nice smell of straw with Sake!




白ねぎと味噌の組み合わせも鉄板！

A long white leek with miso paste is best combination!



今回一番美味しかったおつまみが、このからすみ。
こんなに美味しいからすみ、初めて頂きました〜。
自家製らしいです
すみません、日本酒おかわりくださ〜い　

Karasumi, dried mullet roe was my favorite other than Warayaki fish,
I've never had such nice Karasumi before,,,!
It is home made karasumi.
I think I have to have another glass of sake!




すっぽん登場！
藁焼きだけでななく、すっぽんまであるんですね。
大将が豪快にさばいていらっしゃいました

Here comes a turtle!
We call its Suppon, a Chinese softshell turtle.
Chef is very good at cutting and trimming it




カウンターのお隣の方が注文されたすっぽんでしたが、
すっぽんの血＋日本酒をお裾分けいただきました。
元気が出て来た気がします　笑

Customer next us ordered it but we were lucky to have the turtle blood with sake!
Feel like getting more energetic...!
