太宰府にある完全予約制のフレンチレストランEssence（エッサンス）。
外観からフランスの香りが〜。
太宰府天満宮の少し奥の閑静な住宅街にあります。

Essence, the reservation-only French restaurant in Dazaifu , is located quite residential street
near Dazaifu Tenmangu shrine in Fukuoka.
The exterior of a building is very French style!




自家製バター２種類。
これをまた自家製パンにつけて頂くんですが、パンのお代わりがすすんじゃいます！

Two kinds of homemade butter for also homemade bread!
You can have another helping of the bread if you want!





アミューズ。
これが一番美味しかった〜！
ふわふわしてました。
根セロリとパプリカも入ってました、確か。

The amuse was celery and paprika fluffy soup,
which was my favorite.




お魚とお野菜の前菜。
こちらも良いお味です。

The appetizer was fish and vegetable, I liked the carrot!



鯛にパルメザンチーズの衣をつけて焼いたもの。
サクッとしたパルメザンチーズの食感と、お魚のしっとりした感じが
バランスよくクレソンのソースと良く合っていました。
添えられていたエビもぷりっぷり。

and fish of the day was snapper coated with parmesan cheese,
and the sauce is made by watercress.
The parmesan provide crispy textures which matches the moist texture
of the snapper.
The prawns was very tender!




和牛＆フォアグラ。
とろけました。
Japanese beef and foie gras was amazing,,,!
very tender and the sauce was really nice too.



デザートはイチゴのブラマンジェにしました。
シェフは元ルクセンブルグ大使館の料理長をされていた方だそうです。
予約の電話対応もすばらしくお料理にもその人柄が出ているようでした。
また是非伺いたいお店です！

The dessert was blancmange with strawberry.

The chef used to cook in a embassy of Luxembourg,
and he was very kind when I called to make a reservation,
giving me some advise for the menu.
I really want to visit there again soon!
